This article, prepared by the counsel fo r the New York State Depar tment of Civil Service gives the complete up-to-date picture of rights of veterans under the State Military Law. It covers both the man or woman who lef t a Civil Service job and the veteran who wants to enter civil service for his post-war career. While prepared specially for State employees, almost all of the facts given here apply equally to City, County and other public employees.
